John Sacash

Born in New York City, John was a quiet boy. He would spend hours reading his books rather than be outside playing like the other children. He loved to study about the ancient gods and mythos. His true love was for the Egyptian mythology. He would spend hours day dreaming about being of the Egyptian gods. One day it was be the sky god, the next it was the god of justice. He was always happy dreaming about that time. Wishing for the opportunity to flex a godly muscle against someone.

As he grew older, his fantasies turned into his passions. He studied hard and finally earned a graduate degree in Archeology. His specialty was Egyptian archeology. He went to many a dig sites in Egypt. During one of his digs located in a newly discovered Pyramid. This pyramid was found to be a rather unique one, it was buried completely and only the very top of it could be excavated. John and his team were the archeologist that were allowed to explore what they could inside the pyramid. They had been there for three months and were only able to get to the uppermost layer of the structure. They encountered completely blocked passageways everywhere they attempted to go below the upper layer. John had gone into the main chamber and was transcribing hieroglyphics when he stumbled upon some writing relating to a hidden chamber. He followed the directions to this place. There was a strange dialect to this writing, almost as if it was, but wasn't Egyptian. John followed the directions and uncovered the anteroom. He went into this room and it was dark and smelled of the dry desert. The room was sparsely furnished with a few seats and had one pedestal in it. The primary thing for the room was a throne. This stone throne, elaborately decorated with gold and silver sat just behind the pedestal. A layer of sand had covered everything in the room. John looked all over the room noticing each detail of the writing on the walls and on the pedestal. John transcribed the hieroglyphics and put them into his journal. The antechamber belonged to a God of Justice. There was no name associated with this god. When John had touched the pedestal, he began to notice that the light grew brighter and a wind had picked up inside the chamber. After only a few seconds, the chamber was now as bright as if it were outside and the smell of the burning desert was very strong now. He looked toward the throne and there was a shape starting to take place there. A few more seconds had passed when this man dressed in ancient Egyptian garb sat there. John looked at him for a moment. This man looked familiar to him. He looked like someone John had known for years, but this was the first time he had actually seen him. When the man spoke, the words came from his mouth were filled with such power that they shook the very chamber he was in.

Kanivar was the name he gave himself. He was the guardian of the multiverse and keeper to the Portal of Fate. He had waited for many centuries for the coming of his son. Now with John Sacash coming before him, his son was once at long last with him. John did not believe at first that this was happening. It took him some time to adjust to the fact that someone was in here with him. Kanivar explained that he was there to grant him power beyond measure, but, there was a cost. He would have to become the God of Justice and serve Kanivar. John agreed as this gave him something he didnt have now. It gave him his dreams. John agreed and then Kanivar took John's hand and place a ring upon his finger. He told him that this ring was unique in both appearance and function. As he was still human, this ring would allow him to focus the limitless power through it for a time. Once he focused this power, his body would be replaced by that of a steel golem. That golem held a portion of Kanivar's own power in it and would be his body until such time that he released that power again, then his own body would take the place of the golems'. John must forever now serve Kanivar, keeper of the Portal of Fate and do his bidding for him in the Earth plane. Whenever called upon, he must comply without question and serve Kanivar's needs. John totally agreed with Kanivar in exchange for this power.

John went back to the United States and continued with his education and tapped the power of Kanivar to fight evil in the world. Early in his career he approached Cosmic Herald after that hero appeared on Hero Talk, a program which features the activities of heroes and villains. Pyramid as John called himself, took up with Cosmic Herald and together they formed the organization known as: S.H.A.D.O. This organization stood for Super Human Allied Defense Organization.

Pyramid's body later was transformed into a stone Golem and his ring was replaced with a Rod of Justice, which in fact, was a manifestation of the Portal of Power itself. After that time, Pyramid lost his ability to transform back to human.
